The main structure of the Basajaun southern demo building is a glulam post and beam system developed by Moelven Töreboda AB in Sweden. The system called ”Wood 8” has been developed to be a slender, material efficient building system for high rise timber buildings. It has standardized components but offers great freedom to architects in terms of span, width and layout.
