Bioregions’ Forestry Speed Dating events emerged to foster innovation in the regional forest bioeconomy. Forestry Speed Dating puts innovators in contact with potential partners and end-users, to speed up innovation and create new partnerships.
How does it work?
The Forestry Speed Dating events follow different themes. Within each theme, the Bioregions Facility organises a number of Forestry Speed dating events with their own specific focus.
During each Forestry Speed Dating event, two or three innovations are presented by their owners. These innovations can belong to companies, research projects or even government initiatives.
Basajaun presenting project innovations
The Forestry Speed Dating Series taking place from June to December 2022 allow attendees to discover the latest innovations related to timber and hybrid construction. This series will focus on Bio-based solutions for sustainable construction.
22 September from 14:45-16:00 (CET) : Juan Albinana, Chief Innovation Officer at Garnica and part of the Basajaun consortium, presented G-BRICK an innovative insulation panel developed during the project. After the presentation a breakout room has been opened so that attendees can connect and pursue collaboration with him.
