Life Cycle Assesment Phases studied in the graphs below

The use of timber based components in the construction industry, represent an opportunity to close the construction cycle of buildings.The Southern Demo building developed by The Basajaun project, is an example of this.

The following graphs illustrate two key indicators derived from the research: the volume of timber used in the building and the Global Warming Potential (GWP) associated with its components and systems. These results will be comapred with a building constructed using conventional commercial materials.
