Conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and trade fair stands took place at the International Wood Construction Conference (Holzbauforum) between November 30 and December 2 in Innsbruck, Austria.
The first started with the pre-conference seminars on house construction, architecture, and connection technologies.
On the second day, plenary session conferences focused on three main topics:
- Wood environment,
- Timber Structures (selected and relevant projects, temporary buildings, and wood-high rises),
- Wood Construction Development (adhesives, fire performance, and renovation and restoration).
A master colloquium about wood construction of the future and the digital world of timber put the final addition to the journey.
Last day congregated study cases of wood structures, from exposed engineering structures to future concepts for multi-story wood construction, with specific sessions dedicated to stadiums and sports arenas, and the adventure of wood research. The epilogue was dedicated to the European Green Deal and New European Bauhaus opportunities for timber construction, the approaches in education and training, and timber building for people.
